"This leadership team is implementing a business strategy that places SkyTel in stark contrast to the big-name Tier 1 wireless companies and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) that until now represented the only connectivity choice for running M2M applications," said Hull. "Our network ownership, quick device certification, flexible billing structure and sharp focus on M2M combine to help SkyTel lower some of the most formidable barriers to the proliferation of remote device management."
