Service Options - Operator Dispatch

Operator Dispatch lets your callers send complete text messages to your SkyTel alphanumeric device*, even if they don't have PC, Internet or email access. 

• Easy Alphanumeric Messaging: Callers dictate their message to a SkyTel operator who immediately transmits the message to your unit.
• Toll-Free: All calls to SkyTel customers are toll-free, so your callers will not incur long-distance costs.

(Due to federally mandated payphone surcharges, calls made from a payphone to the SkyTel general access toll-free lines will be blocked. Calls made to a Personal Access Number will result in a $0.30 charge to the subscriber for each call. Subscribers may block their Personal Access Number from payphone access by contacting SkyTel customer service at 1-800-SKYUSER.) 

*Not available for numeric-only paging service (SkyPager).
